The Limo AI Assistant handles your data with care. No personal information (such as name, user ID, IP address, etc.) is collected or stored when you use the tool:

  • Your interactions are anonymous: When you provide feedback via the thumbs up (👍 / 👎) on an answer or on the selected sources, your input is processed completely anonymously. Only an institution ID is stored for analysis in order to continuously improve the tool..
  • Search history: By default, the assistant stores your last 200 search queries to analyze usage patterns. However, no information that could personally identify you is stored. You can also disable this feature in your account settings (My Library Account > Personal Data and Settings).

  • The tool uses an LLM to process your input and the data about the publications in real time. Your input and the data used are not stored by the language model and are only used within the current session. Your data is not used – either directly or indirectly – to train language models.
  • More information about the software supplier's privacy and data protection policy for the AI assistant can be found here.
